Did you know you can determine the temperature by listening to a cricket?

To get a rough estimate of the temperature in degrees fahrenheit, count the number of chirps in 15 seconds and then add 37. The number you get will be an approximation of the outside temperature. ( EX. 30 chirps in 15 sec.- 30+37= 67 degrees F)

Today is a reminder of how bad i hate scrap yards ! Just seeing the people there makes me depressed , then you add rain , minus some cigarettes then add the beating you just took over the past week , add 1 o2 tank fill , 1 acetylene tank fill , fuel , food , time , demo saw blades, injuries just to leave the scale house with 950.00 bucks.
Oh and that 950 is to be divided . In case your wondering we tore down the water treatment plant at my buddies quarry , 8500 lbs of cast iron valves , pumps and pipes .
Transporting the bobcat out there , my mini bobcat , trailer with torches , generators , tools ,crane truck and the f350 , busted the starter on the bobcat , lost control over a large pipe that went awall and killed both regulators on the torches , busted a chain on the mini bobcat .
DAMN IT I better find a ma deuce hidden somewhere out there .

Not to mention my helper spent 98% of the time texting '' little sh1t ''!

Talk about an asswhippin ? I get the ''THAT SUCKS'' award for the day

Rest your weary arms in the warm (probably hairy) embrace of hippies worldwide who thank you for recycling.

But seriously, that is a crapload of cast iron that we won't be buying from China or Brazil. Kudos! (or the candybar of your choosing)

Um. Dude. I hate to burst your bubble but almost all of our scrap iron goes to China. Then they add lead and send it back to us as children's toys and fake Christmas trees.

I can't hear the crickets because the cicadas are louder and constantly chirping. Not only that but the damned frogs are mixing it up to boot.

Who the Hell cares what time it is anyhow?!!!
