^^^ Same roomie learned not to leave stacks of cash laying out when my cat pinched his recently cashed paycheck for her packratesque stash. He called me to see if i had put it away, then saw the cat running down the hall with a $5.

Duder also learned not to bring the stripper home that year.

Picked up a 55in samsung plasma at best buy last night on sale for 650.00 , Now thats a big damn tv , made my 32in flat screen look like a cell phone screen .

Also got a security camera system with dvr for the shop to find out where my tools keep going , or to remind me where the hell I put them .

I saw this thing at wally world the other day . R/C truck with full pan and tilt , fully automatic air soft turret on the back ! Why did we not have $hit like this when we were growing up ?! It Seems I will have to buy it for my um um son , yea Im going to get it for my 19month old son for christmas and show him how to use it

Okay, so it's only 6 months later but I am going to make cookies tonight with my Granddaughter and we are going to use Blue Bonnet instead of butter. I'll let you know how it goes.

You have to make a batch with Blue Bonnet and one with real butter so you can do a head-to-head comparison otherwise it doesn't work. I am hoping the butter wins! (I am against processed foods in general).

Okay, I agree, VikingDad, a double batch, one with butter, one with Blue Bonnet would have been ideal. But I was baking at my daughter's with my granddaughter, who needed to go to bed soon AND I didn't want 8 dozen cookies. I only made a Blue Bonnet batch. All my life I've only used butter in cooking/baking so I felt I had a good basis on what my cookies usually taste like.

I made this recipe.........

Mint Chocolate Delights

Let me just say, these might have been the best cookies I made in a LOOONGG time. To be honest, I'm not sure if it had to do with the Blue Bonnet or not, but these cookies were slightly crisp on the outside, soft on this inside. The chocolate taste was just enough, not too heavy and the hint of mint......oooohhhh, the mint.........I'm telling you, these cookies are wonderful.

OKay, so maybe I haven't proven whether Blue Bonnet is better than butter in baking cookies, but I think I'd use Blue Bonnet again. It's almost like these cookies are so darned good I don't want to mess with the recipe. And at eighty two cents for a pound of Blue Bonnet, heck, you can't go wrong.

These cookies are spectacular.
