Good news...
My husband's 2009 Dodge Ram (Hemi) is paid off now.
Bad news...
It will start falling apart since it's paid for.

And it seems my car, appliances......heck, my house in general knows when I've finally been able to stash a little money away. Something always seems to break down when I gather a little cash together. I soothe myself by telling myself, "At least I have the money to fix it."

We bought a Ford Ranger truck for our youngest son less than 2 months ago. Since then we have bought a windshield, two tires, a brake job, and windshield wipers for it. I hope that is finished. My Sport Trac was in the shop to get an actuator replaced so the heater would work. In the house the water heater decided to take a leak all over the floor last week. I've about had it for extra expenses. Oh, I almost forgot, I need to get my motorcycle into the shop to get an electrical problem fixed. I've been trying to run it down myself and haven't had any luck. Almost didn't ride this year at all because of it.

We've had very good luck with our two vehicles since they were paid off. The Taurus since '04 and my SportTRac since '08.

My Dad's 2000 model Dodge Ram (318) is still running fine. Of course, it still has under 100,000 miles on it. I have called dibs if he ever decides to part with it ( i would sell a freakin kidney).
