Variable Valve timing and ported fuel injection, we have the technology. It doesn't sound as cool but it's BRILLIANT!!!

When you control fuel and spark at over 500 times a second, smooth idle is a cake-walk!

Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 LS9 Engine 638-horsepower 595 lb.-ft. of torque

No VVT, just a good old pressure-charged, push rod motor.

And yes, you would be surprised how many MIM parts are used in not only this LS9 but all current production engines!

Is a person who's afraid of or averse to MIM a *MIMophobe* ?

Is a person who's afraid of guns and MIM vexed with *HoploMIMophobia* ?

That surprises me I thought they would have used some sort of Variable Valve timing. I guess none of the LS or LT motors had vvt? At least as far as I know? So that makes sense. Do they still you use the same type of distributor as the other LS motors?

Lol nah I was at work:/ I am again tonight but i stand ready to lock the gates down and walk off (I'm kidding, because that would be kidnapping x100 counts)
MIM is Metal Injected Molding, which is a way to make more complex parts. Think model airplanes but with metal

Thank you.

Enjoy those MRE's. Tonight I'm eating a ham sandwich on an onion roll and some homemade chicken noodle soup.
