I don't know all the details... but when I was working at my walmart, we had a Saturn "explode", 3 tech's stopped working with us the next day. Just another reason I hate wally world.
I'm actually shocked. I quit Monday morning and it's friday night, and I haven't killed anyone! I really Owe Cinderocka one, or ten, shots, bottles, cases, something, of J. Daniels. That and the encouragment of those such as winds. A lot of my aches and pains are gone or going away, it's nice for sure. The cravings are kicking my ass, except for tonight. I've been using up much of my daylight working on my 1911, which is too... concentration dependent, to allow me to think on the cravings.
Surprisingly tonight I'm doing really well at fighting them though, and I'm just now getting to the "cough that sh!t up stage".

Keep at it. You will be so glad you quit for many reasons. You will smell better, your clothes, your breath. You will not get winded as easily. You'll save money. You'll have more energy. Food will taste better. You won't have to leave your friends to step out to have a smoke. People who smoke age faster, too, in their looks.
Now, list me any benefits you feel as a smoker. I can't think of any, can you?
Here you go........

It's a time killer:P and where I work, it was the easiest way to relieve stress.
The one "unexpected" side effect of quitting is the glaucoma like symptoms I was having, are apparently subsiding, though that is equally the cause of the nasal spray, the nasal spray was barely effective for the first week and a half.
I look at it this way. If i smoke 3 packs a week, that's 18 bucks, which is an extra box of 45. I go to the range once a month, which means every month I can take 4 boxes extra:P
The catch was, when I was 18 and 19, I was running with the DEP and all, so smoking wasn't actively affecting me that much, but now, I haven't been excercising so I haven't been flushing the crap out and now I suffer for it. It's nice to be able to smell again too:P

My youngest son, daughter, granddaughter and I are going to a hockey game tonight. My daughter texted me the other day saying she was looking forward to "dudes duking it out on the ice whilest I sip a beer".
Did I raise her wrong?

It took 5 days for my brownells order to ship. I was not happy, but I can't wait for the parts to get here thursday
I also ordered two "classic" mags from Checkmate, as at 14 bucks with no shipping and flawless performance, for my 1911.
And today I go buy a few MRE's, and a new back pack lol.
