And here's a story of what my kids have to put up with having me as their Mother. I was trying to text my other two children as my oldest son was calling me to tell me about his surgery date. I couldn't figure out why, when I was texting, it appeared I was dialing my oldest son. I kept ending the call and starting over again trying to text. Finally, I decided to hit "send" and there was my son on the phone. HE was calling ME. I was laughing very hard. He said "What the heck is going on? New phone?" I had to admit it wasn't a new phone. I just didn't know what was going on. My kids have such patience with me. I could imagine the stories they tell their friends.

But I think the relief he gets from having this all fixed will be worth it.
He'll be fine. Everybody gets nervous about surgery. Must me something about the way Doctors represent it to the patient.

I have no patience. I ordered a bunch of stuff from Brownells yesterday at like 1030 mytime(pst) and still haven't gotten any info. Except for the order confirmation. If only Midway had the stuff I needed.

He's very afraid of general anesthesia. When he had his wisdom teeth removed, he did it with novacaine only. He was afraid to be put under. I know he'll be fine. And even thankful he feels better when it's all over.

I used to be that way with the needle injected version, I think it had something to do with the McVeigh execution. I took the mask instead

I had the exact things done three or four years ago; he'll be okay....but the recovery sucks. He'll be glad he did it in the long run.
