Last night I spent some time cleaning and lubing my Dad's guns that I had brought down to Stalkingbears. I got some #0000 steel wool and buffed some rust of the Marlin Barrel and cleaned both guns. They looked BEAUTIFUL. I returned them to my Dad today and he was happy to see his guns looking so good. I showed him how he could take the Marlin off it's stock just by undoing that one screw and he thought that was amazing. (He's not very gun savvy.) Then we had lunch together and I went back home. I love spending time with my Dad.

Well........now ya gotta get him out and shoot the dang guns!

Nothing like shooting with the old man!

My fondest memories are freezing my ass off, in a cornfield stubble field in eastern Colo., drinking coffee from his Thermos, admiring the pheasants we shot, and hoping the Brittanies didn't point up another during our break!
