I had a talk with him privately before we left work. (This guy is my co-worker.) I told him he doesn't know who else is in the forest preserves, that he might inadvertently hit someone walking their dog, etc. I told him someone may hear gun shots and call the police to investigate. He said he would only shoot into a berm or towards the ground. I told him I would never jeopardize my gun ownership by making a stupid judgement call. He promised he would be safe and I just said to him, "Well, tell it to the judge. I'm sure he'll take that into consideration." I think I may have given him food for thought enough to realize he is risking a lot to have a bit of fun shooting that gun.

And, we're not in Cook County, we're in DeKalb County........but still, I wouldn't want to be dropping the soap.
