Oh- it will also kill carrots, trees, head lice, elephants, yeti, and you. It is classed as a biocide. Kills ANYTHING that lives. (WOC- walk down to Cenral Sterile Supply. Bet they use it down there in the gas autoclave)

There is a fine line betwen what kills bugs and what puts YOU on the brown side of the grass. Aren't you glad they did not try for 100.00000% ?

I've just added you to my very short list of people I never want angry at me. I'm pretty sure you could think of much worse things to do to people than shoot them....

Scratch- How do I know that?

Well....................long, long ago- in a galaxy far, far away........

Cinder- who, me? I am just a sweet lovable old guy. Ask any of my grandkids what a sweet lovable old guy I am. I have testimonials to my sweetness. PS- most folks never stop to consider how the old guy got to BE an old guy!

Several years ago I participated in a mentor program for young mechanics and they gave a test to try and narrow down the candidate pool, and the prospective mentors (I was one) took the test as well. One of the questions was "Does gasoline make a good solvent?" and I was the only one to answer yes, it does. It was the only question that I "missed" on the test (mentors were expected to get 100% on the test to pass).

I explained that the test was in fact wrong, as gasoline makes an excellent solvent, but one would have to be an idiot to use it as one because it is so volatile. It does not make a safe solvent.

The next year when I went through the same process they had changed the question to "Is gasoline safe to use as a solvent?".

PS, I have a good friend who was cleaning parts for his dirt bike in the garage with gasoline. The water heater 20 feet away lit off the fumes and he suffered third degree burns over much of his body.

I don't doubt it but I go outside to blast my guns down. I can't believe nobody else is claiming to use the stuff as well, it does an awesome job for almost a third the price of Powderblast.

My Dad almost burnt our house down cleaning the garage floor with gasoline, he had a kerosene heater burning nearby and the fumes lit on fire. Most people don't realize it's the fumes that ignite not the gasoline itself.

I wonder why it is that I hate yelling at most people but I usually don't have a problem yelling at truck drivers?
