Fire truck?

College algebra, I seriously want to inflict severe pain on myself to avoid going to this class...

I'm 5' 3'' I need something to stand on to work in the engine compartment of my Toyota and it doesn't have a lift.... The nice thing about these trucks is you can just climb up in the engine compartment or the hood as the case may be, and do whatever needs to be done.

I can't factor polynomials to save my life. I just can't seem to grasp how X2+3x+2 becomes (x+2)(x+1)

Sorry to but in here cinder, but say x is 2 in the equation. 2x2+3x2+2=12 right? So kick it back to middle school and use your p.e.m.d.a.s. Parrenthases first x is still 2 so, (2+2)=4 (1+2)=3 mutiply them together and youve got 12

alright, So, In factoring polynomials, such as x^2 + 3x +2, you take the first term, x^2, and how you have to come to it. so x*x = x^2. you have (x+ ) and (x+ ) second term is 3x, so it can come from 2x+1 or 4x-1. since the third term is positive 2, it can come from 2*1 only at this time. The Underlined terms in the next part will be how you multiply the terms.
you start off (x+2) (x+1) so you have x^2
now you (x+2)(x+2) giving you x^2 +x
then (x+2) (x+1) giving you x^2 +x+2x
And last (x+2) (x+1) which is x^2 +x +2x +2. Which compresses to x^2+3x +2

Winds,
I have also started very recently using essential oils for my lower back pain (due to an injury 40 years ago) and I'll be forever damned if it doesn't work! I tried them initially because my wife is into the alternative stuff and she ran across them, but it was like a miracle when after just a few minutes my 40 years of chronic back pain started to subside just by rubbing on a few drops of oils. Later that day I was actually as comfortable as I get after taking Naproxen Sodium (brand name Alieve) which I would only do when the pain got too much to bear. Now, 8 weeks later I am taking daily herbal supplements that take care of 99.9% of the pain and periodically use the topicals for when I overdo it, or if I just want to feel better.

There are oils that help with allergies and asthma as well, sometimes with miraculous results. Read through this link and check it out for yourself. Asthma

If you would like some more information PM me and I would be happy to either provide it or direct you to where you can get it.

Well, I certainly do believe in natural remedies. What I was referring to was using bee stings to alleviate arthritis pain considering I have allergies and asthma. Thank you for that link. I will look through it.

You think that's bad... Check out the Equations on this page. I'm going to learn to do them... BY HAND for fun.

So My employer has no respect for seniority. I'm number 2 of ten people. My Supervisor has only been with the company for under 2 months.
a week ago wednesday, I show up, to be told I don't work that night anymore.( knocks me from 80 hours to 64)
This comes a week after my friend got fired, and I was put on a 30 day Probational period For being associated with him. They had brought in a new guy(only worked here for three weeks) who picked up 4 of my friend's shifts, and the Wednesday I lost.
They Haven't paid me for an average of 7 minutes, 2 days a week, for a year and a half, that my coworker has showed up late on( No joke, this guy is late 90% of his shifts, anywhere from 3 minutes, to 25).
No Friggin' joke. I've put a year and a half in to the company, and in 9 months, put 120 something Hours of Overtime, not counting what they didn't pay me. Needless to say, I'm ticked. So now, It looks like I'm going to have to pay 394 dollars, 225 of it to a training company, and 189 to the state, to get my gun card(So I can carry loaded and exposed) and find a new company. (plus 250 Rounds of primary, 50 for each secondary, up to 4 calibers Primary is going to be my 1911 in 45, plus my ar15, plus probably my dad's sigarms 2009 9mm, and 12 Gauge.)
