Bananas are a good source of potassium. Back when The Lovely Mrs and I played softball we would have a chocolate banana milkshake after the games to avoid cramps and spasms. I guess calcium helps too.

I know I don't have restless leg syndrome. The cramping only happens very occasionally. But when it does.......it's bad!

I heard low potassium or calcium can cause it. Today I slept pain free.

Hmm... i think I'm going to need to get my potassium checked Haha... I've been having some horrible charlie horses while riding, and now i've developed a nasty twitch in my index finger. of course that could also be the amount of homework I am doing along with the amount of caffeine I'm taking in. either way I need to go to the doctor lol.

BTW, a random thought of Biblical advice for all the single ladies who wanna get married: "Ruth patiently waited for her mate Boaz. Charlie and the horse........
My daughter allmost called 911 one nite, I had a muscle spasm the size of a base ball in the ham area..... this lasted for a half hour..... I had to get in the shower with the water hot as hell before it finally stopped...... The next day I had a bruise that was 3 inches in diameter.....And my leg sore as hell.... Since I no longer stand at a manual lathe all day long the spasms are far and in between....I still have RLS........

Ran across this- rather different- dang near a cross between guitar, harp, harpsicord, dulcimer, autoharp, and I don't know what else. Rather haunting- and I generally don't like tricked out instruments-
