The Winchester 94 I once owned was not a quality firearm. Now we have Marlins. If I had a 94 I would gladly trade it for your SR9c.

Thanks for the info. I'll hold on to it.

Get up and drink a lil pickle juice & they usually ease up.

Quinine is supposed to be the best cure, but you can't get it over the counter any more.

Depends on the year of manufacture, caliber, and condition...

Winchester 94's can range from highly collectible to "should have bought a Marlin", depending on when they were built.

I'd suggest re-posting this question in the general rifle forum. I'm sure some of the members know 94's inside and out and can tell you what to look for.

Yes, although syrup is probably cooked to a lower moisture content than "blackstrap" molasses.

If it was a pre '64 model 94, i.e. made before 1964, then yes work it into the trade. Otherwise keep the pistol and get a Marlin.

My Sweetheart (yes, my wife) has the same thing. She also has the restless leg syndrome. That could be a sign of something you may want to have checked.

Have your potassium checked. A friend of mine was having the same problem and this turned out to be the cause.
