The life of a human is relatively short compared to that of the sea tortoise. But I wouldn't let MY tortoise ride in the back of my pickup.

I will. If i find anything:/ I figure that if the dog's on the floor(inside) there isn't really anywhere for it to fly, but if it's on a seat, things won't end well.

But would you ride in the back of a sea turtle's pickup; that is the question. 
I do my best to help my pets have a very full life with lots of fun and frivolity (and 'nip), because they won't usually be here that long.
Of course, if you guys think back a few years (some places a few months), it wasn't that unusual to see people riding in the back of pickup trucks.

LOL! Turtles could get "shellshocked" though. My cat has a large enough layer of fat to protect it in a crash, i bleve.
