If he is feeling down about it, maybe some target practice would cheer him up. I have managed to forget much of my younger days, but i think i remember bout every time my Dad took me shooting. He wasn't into it much but made a good effort for me.

I am frequently thankful for the parents i drew; many of my friends were not so lucky. I hope your boy understands that it isn't his fault he drew a nurturing-challenged mother; it was just bad luck, IMO.

SWEET! I found the exact CZ52 i was lusting after: decent finish, good function, wood grips, and $250. You gotta love the old guys at the gun shows; duder had marked it down from $325 (more in line with the other CZ52's at the show that looked more worn). I will get some pics up later.

Picked up a lil ammo too; hadn't been able to find any .38 spcl lately. Picked up some nice .380 hp's for my sister and my former Bersa.

Most of the prices seemed a bit high, and i still don't like it when people buy a Mosin Nagant, take it to the show, attach the bayonet, and don't even clean or inspect the rifle.

Overall, a GREAT Saturday morning!

I wish you were local to me. I have a case of Romanian 7.62x25 pistol ammo, left over from when I sold my CZ52. Probably should have shot it all before I sold it. Ha.

I was browsing another gun forum and I found something that made me sick. There was a thread where someone asked if it were legal to hunt penguins. I do believe it was just a joke but I didn't find it funny at all. That'll teach me to browse other forums...........Random Thoughts Thread - The Club House
