BTDT too many times to count!

drinking lots of adult beverages at the end of the day seems to help!

I was having that discussion with a friend the other day. He's also a mechanic.
I told him this job is the reason I drink.
His answer to that was, "oh come on its not that bad."
I asked if he knew any mechanics who didn't drink. Still haven't gotten an answer. so I'm gonna guess not.

I however am still not drinking, until I find another job, then I'm having at least one.

well, i will admit that drinking isn't probably the best suggestion, but sometimes it seems to be the appropriate suggestion!

I think it is an excellent suggestion as long as you wait until after work to do it.

When I was an apprentice I had to carry a journeyman that was constantly drunk. I would not let him near anything dangerous. He thought he was hiding the drinking but his thermos was loaded with vodka. His wife would bring him to work and pick him up. I think he had too many DUI's to drive. I knew he was in constant pain and that was how he coped. He could not make it on disability. Most of the crew knew about it and I wonder if he was given an apprentice to set him up to be fired. Our work got done so they could not fire him for that.

For what it's worth, I have lost some 16 pounds in the 5 weeks since my surgery. ☺
Eating healthier and walking.

Can we assume you feel better too? Or is it too early to tell? Most people feel lots better after losing ten pounds, I know I do.

That's great! Between the improved blood flow and the weight loss you're going to be feeling like a million bucks (pun intended) soon!
