Not a chill to the winter but a nip to the air,

It could be an illusion, but I might as well try, might as well try.

She had rings on her fingers and bells on her shoes.
And I knew without askin' she was into the blues.
She wore scarlet begonias tucked into her curls,
I knew right away she was not like other girls, other girls.

I saw a Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac. A little voice inside my head said, "Don't look back, you can never look back" Don Henley saw a Grateful Dead sticker on a Cadillac.
-I love the 'Dead and don Hendley

I loved the Dead and blame them for spending a couple summers in college selling grilled cheese on various tour. I wish i was still young.

I wish I had the money, equipment and the contacts(ie former sf, delta, rangers, intel specialists and pilots) to put together a civilian team to go get some American citizens and bring them home since our government isn't willing to do it. I just read a story on how American pastor saeed abedini was beaten so bad in an Iranian jail he has internal bleeding and is being refused surgery. Then we have pastor bae in n Korea and bowe berghdal in Afghanistan. I mean seriously why the hell are we not doing anything

I would risk life and limb as a civilian going in to these countries to get these guys out because our government lost our "big stick" along with our balls somewhere
