thats a whole new ball game .

You know me better than you realize. Except I don't believe in second chances. It takes a very special circumstance and true remorse to get a second chance out of me.

Just remember, you have your "on-line" family to Vent to as well as your real Family & Friends. I guess I was Lucky that 1st marriage didn't last, and the Only time in 13 Years(that we have been together, and this Feb. is 8 Years Married) that we have been apart is the Last 2 NFL Draft's when I had to go to NY for 5 days without her...If it works out OK I'll be able to take her THIS time, since the Publisher will be picking up the Tab...now let's see what they say about the 85 Lb. 4 Legged Gas machine getting on a Plane without a Puppy Anxiety attack...even "with" his "Emotional Support-Therapy" Tag......

Sitting here in my office, have the chatterboxes on, listening in on what's going on around the city (scanner and 2 way radio).

I hear a voice... A new voice... Sounds like a young girl. Asking about a water meter. I listen to the conversation... She's asking another city worker, an old head, where such and such water meter is and what address it goes too...

There's something odd about this voice. This young lady. I knew we were looking for new meter readers, so that is no surprise... But still... There's something... There...

Another city worker chimed in after a minute... "Who dat?" Over the radio....

"My name's Justin. I'm new."

I couldn't help myself. I snatched up the handset.

"Unit 11 to all stations... He shall forever henceforth be known as... Bieber. Beeb's is also acceptable. Acknowledge."

Laughing 10-4's started rolling in like an avalanche.

I'm a freaking ass hole. But dammit, it can be fun. The guy at Grainger with the long pretty blonde hair still won't talk to me.

GGaC, if I remember right, you were headed someplace between Amarillo and Oklahoma City. I don't mind driving a ways for a good cause. Let me know what town you're near and we'll figure out how to make it happen. We'd be coming in from Glenpool (south of Tulsa).

JW, and GGaC, you are in my prayers I was gone 4 months to Alaskan waters (n I lived in Tacoma WA at the time) 2 months back home and 4 more months gone. I did this for 7 years for the job, NOT military. my wife had to take care of it all and the youngest was 5 years so she was better prepared as well as SHE did not just move in to her new home as you just did.

I've only been a ftf forum member for a short while but I am a sensitive guy to family situations. The best to both of you!!!!

Thanks Art.

We didn't yet move into our new home. That comes later in May(ish). But we did just move out of our old home.

Seven years is a long time. I'm glad it ended up working out for you.
