I've seen a lot of placentas and never saw one that pale and with seeds. Just sayin'......
My image of livers and kidneys in the animal kingdom is that their purpose is somewhat like oil filters in engines.
Why someone would want to eat that is beyond me.
I spent some time visiting with my wife’s family in France in years past, and it seemed almost every meal had liver or organ meat of some kind. It would take a healthy swig of wine (their table wine was in a hundred gallon keg that came with with a faucet and a community glass and kept cool in the cellar
) to keep some of that stuff down.
I would tell her on the flight home that the first thing I want is a piece of meat with a bone in it.
