In texas you can use deadly force to protect your property , even your neighbors property. Anyone remember Tom Horn on the phone with 911 and when the law didn't arrive in time to stop 2 burgulars leaving his neighbors house, he went outside and shot them both dead. You could hear the 911 operator telling him not to go out then the door close, the slide of the shotgun and two rounds discharged.

Yes and the ensuing trial cost him in excess of $400k before he was found not guilty. Also, my CHL instructor talked to that gentleman personally and listened to his whole story. Apparently the guy felt his house was next to be robbed and only made it to his front porch before the first guy stormed him. And yes, the BG saw the shotgun and still tried to attack.

My instructor asked the Mr Horn that after all it cost him, would he still do the same thing if he was put back in the same situation. His answer "H€ll yes!!!"

One good reason to pay attention to what you say around kids...

Sue got licked in the face by the dog...
Sue "Ahh! Your breath stinks!"

Me "What do you expect? He licks his own privates."

Sue, "ha ha ha ha ha!!! Wait....Caleb's breath stinks....does he lick his own privates too?"

Me "uh...uh...uh....no....I'm uh...sure he doesn't.....uh....I don't uh....think any one can...uh....lick uh....their own....privates...." (I know some can, but I'll be damned if I'm telling that to a seven year old)

Sue "....well then who's privates does he lick?"

Me "FML"

There are many days I take for granted the blessing I have of working on fresh water boats . BUT ...... from time to time one migrates up from the coast and ends up at my door .
I find it amazing how much salt water can seize up a part SOOOOO bad that it needs no nuts or bolts nor any other fastening to hold it in place , for such part is SOOOO ****** stuck that a nice brick of c4 would not budge it .

It seems that I severely under quoted this one

Have you considered offering a "fresh water discount"?

No , discount for military , leo ect ect and for large tickets with cash payment .

I am at the blind rage swinging wildly with a 5 lb hammer beating the ever living dog ch!t out of a tilt tube with a steering cable cut off and stuck in the middle but its all sandwiched like this
Barnicles
Aluminum
Salt
Nylon bushing
Salt
some more salt
some rust
some old grease '' hard grease ''
steel tube
salt
paint
rust/rot
stainless tube
salt
grease
spiraled steel wrapped stainless braided cable
Maybe some air in the somewhere but it looks pretty solid

You know its goin down when you walk in the shop and see a torch , air hammer , PB blaster , misc hammers , a stool , a fan ,, sawzall , grinder and lots of cigarette butts and a pile of barnacles and corrosion
