One of the questions on the application was, "describe someone different from you and something you have learned from them." They also had me draw a picture. Best job application ever!

Did you use crayons? I've filled out a job application (the whole thing, not a picture) with crayon. I got the job too!

Lol! Actually it was a job as a lube tech. It was the man who hired me who says, "need something to write with? Here ya go."

Blue crayon.

No, no crayons. I drew a picture of a piston and a valve train. I'm a mechanic, not an artist.

Saw a cop get "hit" by a suburban a bit ago. Hilarity ensued.

A little background. The state police (highway patrol) in my area are known for being pretty damn messed up. I'm sure there's a few good ones. Probably most of them are. But their bad apples really take the spotlight. They've been known to steal, fondle, accept bribes, and sell drugs.

While coming out if the gas station near my office, where I was picking up some breakfast, I hear screaming and cussing. Along the lines of "bring it mother ****er! You want a piece of me?"

Sue and I turned to look, and it's a state trooper bowed up and slapping the hood of a suburban. The driver leaned out the window and asked what the problem was. "Shut the **** up! This is between me and the truck!" ........... mmmmmkay......

After a minute, the driver gets tired of having the cop slapping his hood and screaming at his truck, so he decided to creep forward a bit... bumping the cop.

The cop went ape and busted out the kung fu. He was ninja'in that suburban like it was nobody's business.

Then the driver, laughing hysterically, backed up and came forward with a little more speed and bumped him a little harder, knocking him down.

The cop jumped up and went after the suburban with more ferocity.

I'm pretty sure he was on something. This was still going on when I pulled out of the parking lot. I called the sheriff's office and told them what was going on, that the state police officer was obviously lacking his morning cup of coffee, and hey, of course he's armed. He's doing karate on a suburban...
