Is it a "I don't know what you think you saw but it wasn't me" look? After he sends you tumbling, does he claim the recliner? Haven't met him but I'm really liking this dog!

How dogs laugh was an article my mom showed me awhile back. I think it was in popular science, but can't remember for sure. It basically a short panting sound they do when they are playing. If you listen to a dog do it, practice it, and do it to them while they are playing, they will catch on to it. Then do it while everything is calm, they will perk their heads up and get wound up instantly.

When did our society get so fubar that parents have to fear their out of control children???
Sometimes a thirteen year old boy just needs to have his a$$ beat.

From multiple recent experiences I've come to the conclusion there is nothing you can do if a child strikes a parent.
Let the world be forewarned, if/when I have kids I will be a loving nurturing father, but they will either respect me or fear me. If my son ever raises a hand to my wife or myself he will get his a$$ beat.
If anyone has an issue with it they can pay for dss to raise the little bastard. I will not live in fear of my children.

it comes down to political correctness. that and too many people or agencies telling parents how they should or can raise their children.

id you don't discipline them, you are neglectful. if you do discipline them, you are abusive. IMO, a good butt whooping, standing them in a corner, grounding them, or taking away privelages or things, isn't abusive actions but good discipline.

old saying, spare the rod and spoil the child. too many people thes days are spoiling their children. they need to get back to the rod. many children are growing up and not knowing there are consquences for their action if they step out of line or break the rules. and how will they ever know if they are not punished when they break the rules or the parents won't allow them to be punished?

His name is somewhat fitting. Sue has become obsessed with WWI finger planes. Particularly the fokkers. He's named the dog Baron.
