I KNOW! I love the summer heat. It makes me feel like a sexual tyranosaurus. But with it being hot at night now too? Damn.

I usually leave just the window unit in my living room on, and turn on the ceiling fan in my bedroom. But up until just this past week, it's still been getting down into the mid to low 80's.

This presents a multi faceted problem for me.
I already have insomnia (but I managed to sleep a whole 3 AND A HALF hours last night!) So sleeping is already a sketchy proposition for me.
It's even more difficult for me to sleep when it's swelteringly hot.
And my window unit in my bedroom sounds like it's trying to taxi down the freaking runway!

It's a no win situation.

EDIT* Tex beat me to it.
Problem is that the "noise" is due to nerve damage, not actual sounds/vibrations. They would have to tap into nerves inside my head. I would rather live with this freaking noise in my head.

Speaking of engine noise, I'm working on a DD15 and those things are so quiet it's amazing and I swear the Jakes just make it even more quiet.

Well, you know, it barely makes it to 80 in the daytime around here...

Hello everyone. Anyone want to write this paper on the Crystal Meth epidemic in Hawaii for me?

It is not a new thing; that is a 2009 article.

I can remember writing in high school about the explosion of crack cocaine and the profit margin behind it.

They're in the jungle now. Sadly, I expect the predator to show up.
