I'm excited as all get out. I just received a text from Eric's cousin inviting me to a "birthday party" for my beloved son/friend, Eric. His birthday is August 9th and they are having a get together and balloon release in a forest preserves in memory of Eric. I can't wait to mingle with a bunch of Eric's family. I have stories to tell them of the 'trouble' Eric and I would get into. I guarantee I'll have them all laughing. Eric and I were terrible when we'd get together.........in a good sort of way. We took care of each other, supported each other and encouraged each other. I could tell him anything at all and he would never judge me. I miss him so much. I was so flipped out when Eric died my real son wanted me to come stay at his house for a few days. He was worried about me.

Just caught up on that thread as it's before my time. Very sorry for your loss.

A picture of him is on the wallpaper of my cell phone. I look at him every day.

Thank you for your kind words.

Winds,
I had missed that he had passed on. You have my deepest condolences. Gatherings like this are very important for people who are grieving, and stories such as you plan on telling are important to share. Your post has gotten me to think about my own father's passing on Sept 06 of last year and what might I do on that day this year.

Live, love and laugh.

Hold on. I'll go find one.........

I felt so sorry for that cub in the water. It didn't show in the video but that cub was saved and put on dry land where his mother came back for him.

Heartwarming, isn't it 'Gello?

How about a "loved ones that have passed" thread? People can share stories, which can help to remember and cope with the loss.

As to the In Memory thread , I miss all who have moved on that I loved , But I do not even visit my moms grave and I drive by it 3-4 times a day , just no need to , nothing there but a body i cant see or touch , it will only bring up un happy feelings . Just mho

Wife just lost her job , kinda knew it was coming , hell why not ? Everything else is candy coated turds right now but it could always be worse .
NO .... no its fine , give that job to the old biotch who has 35 yrs and no family who can retire with FULL benitfits , but fire the gal who has a family with 2 small children and a self employed husband .
Oh boy , writing that just made it sink in , my skin is literally getting hot , I can feel myself going places I dont need to go right now , must be how the hulks feels .
Was going to give this guy a pass but ......
