I was always extremely nervous when my son played keeper. Not that I thought he would get hurt but I was afraid a ball would get past him.

Yeah you gotta be good and not care much about your body getting hurt and broken to be a good keeper

My son never worried about being hurt. In baseball he took a fast ball right between the eyes. The Blue was a medic just out of the military and he tended to my son. My son's nose bled like CRAZY. My son would NOT let me take him to the hospital. He looked godawful for a week or so. Later in life he had to have sinus surgery because he broke his nose and it was never set. Talk about feeling like a bad parent.

I would never have gone out on the baseball field again after that. It didn't stop him at all.

Looking at criminal justice programs to help me join a PD easier and people are trying to get me to join Homeland security type courses and programs. I asked why, and apparently the classes are basically empty because everyone thinks they're a waist and an abuse on the system meant to suppress people. Maybe if they haven't started training to shoot targets of little kids, pregnant women, etc, gotten 7,000 armored vehicles and enough ammo to support the overseas wars for 20 years all for domestic use, then maybe if they didn't classify Veterans, Homeschooled kids, Christians, and people that believe in the constitution as America's biggest threat above any real terrorist group, I might consider joining lol.

I cried but he didn't. In fact, he told me to quit fussing over him because I was embarrassing him.

Freagging whipped today . Spent most of the day at quarry yesterday drowning overpriced worms and untangling mine and my sons fishing pole , he would mess his up and while I was fixing his he would sneak and grab mine
Also realized that ...... I CAN NOT SWIM ANYMORE ?!?! Maybe the water is so clean and not buoyant like salt water or the heavily polluted lakes , dont know but I sink like a effing rock out there ,must be all the sexiness .

Got the kids and wife off the boat and fished in peace for a bit then went and ate homemade ice cream THEN we found a big ass magnet .
HEY LETS GO GUN HUNTING IN THE WATER !!!!

yea .... my arms are shot for dragging a 40lb magnet through 100ft of water only to bring up underwear , a tree and a ton of miller high life bottle caps .
No 1928 thompsons or 1911's
I did find a big ass copperhead , tried to catch him but he went through the stupid fence .
Least ....... think it was a copperhead .... dont know fur sure but i would have loved to grab him and chased everyone around with it , I will pick up any snake so long as I can get him behind the head , AINT SCURRED

How about singing like a fat opera lady WHILE burying yourself in spent brass?

Not exactly what I was thinking, but then again, what fun would it be to take on such a large and probably slow-moving target.
