been having some wicked and muffed up dreams for the past week or so , gotta wonder whats up when every single loved one that has died has been in your dream , each a different night .
Usually they never talk but one I had of mom the other night she was talking crazy like she was right before she died .
Watching someone waste away to cancer is not as bad as when their mind goes right there at the end

Last night I had a very vivid dream. It was scary vivid. And a very odd dream, too.

Which is why I find it funny that you can't carry a loaded weapon.
There is no "loose" ammo allowed at the shows here, though I do sometimes see an ammo can full of rifle ammo. Most of the boxes I've seen or bought are taped shut; I have seen some tables with example ammo taped to the price signs.

I would really prefer they didn't restrict things anymore than they already are. That said, there are some people I would rather not stand near at a gunshow. One of those people is the local deputy (and firearms training officer, least at one time) who blew his pinkie toe off with a .22 magnum rifle at a local show a couple of years ago. He picked out the rifle for his 9 year old son, bought it, let the kid carry it around the gunshow for about 45 minutes, propped the muzzle on his boot while his kid went to get snacks, and put one into the toe/boot backstop. I was dumbfounded! 1) never checked the barrel or action before buying? 2) handed it to his 9 year old kid without clearing it for the kid to see? 3) let the kid carry a rifle the kid hadn't cleared around a crowd of people? 4) barrel on his boot? Parenting/firearms safety/evolution FAIL!

That is one of my favorite sayings and I just might add it to my signature.

"Keep your booger picker off the bang switch."
