I would think the longer you wait the better, it is protecting the damaged skin underneath it. The longer you wait, the more the skin will heal and lessen the chance for infection.

I read somewhere that even a flap of dried out dead skin will act as a natural band aid, and help it heal faster.

I pop those blisters as soon as I can. Then I clean it well and keep a bandage over it. I know you're not supposed to but I can't stand those blisters..........and I can't resist.

Well it's still tender underneath, so I think I have a good deal more waiting to do.

Also...

Coming soon to a gun forum near you:

The adventures of Smokey Joe!
A blast from the past, a living legend in his own mind! He's battled Nazis, the Rhodesian Army, and the Russians in Afghanistan alongside the Mujahadeen! He's adventured like Indiana Jones and Allan Quatermain, upon the dark continent and the deep jungles of South America.

A fiction based on real (mostly factual, according to Mrs. Smokey Joe) conversations.

a 95 is still an A, and is still a really good grade.

In my opinion if you get 100% on all of your tests then they are not really doing any good as they don't give a measure of your knowledge and therefore which direction the instructor should go with your education. The most knowledgeable student should not be able to get 100%, or even anything over 80%, on a really well written test. I would prefer (if I were your teacher) to know what you don't know, rather than what you have already learned. Mastery is another matter however. The best written test on the planet cannot demonstrate whether a person has mastered anything. When I was in college there were several students (one in particular) who would ace the tests but failed to gain the true knowledge necessary to master the subject matter.

I do not mean to demean your high score, that is something to be proud of to be sure.

I'm back.... Well kind of.

Been busy the last three weeks. Got married and went on the honeymoon. Didn't get to check the site much. Then I moved out of Oklahoma and to my new duty station in Florida. Been trying to get the house set up and just got the Internet a few days ago. Now the wife and I are gonna go enjoy the beach for the day and try to pick up some furniture real cheap at a flea market. Gotta save that money. Anyways, I should be on here a little more in the coming weeks until I start my next school.

I know what you mean. I struggled through college. But I can guarantee you I am very good at what I do.

Ky, I get afraid for you when you post stuff like this. I know you love the river but I worry about you.
