If you are gonna drive to DFW, why not just drive the whole way. Get some rental car (notaford) and a jar of minithins and have a nice road trip.

Mean , I know but at least they would have gone out on a good note
I would have at least banged on the window or thrown something.

A shooting buddy was telling me about this party he attended: A great time was had by all. Most were drunk or otherwise impaired and still at the house when dawn broke. One of the otherwise impaired individuals was VERY HUNGRY, so hungry that he shot, skinned, and grilled a squirrel in the yard, before passing out. Damn the munchies.

He isn't going to have to get a rental car... I have a truck!

I'm coming out about 50 bucks cheaper and about 36 hours of time not spent traveling. That means 36 hours more to spend with my baby.

Imo, time is the biggest advantage of flying.

In this case, the approximate 36 hours is priceless.

Yeah, the time spent in travel has to count towards the value.

But when i go to Guam, I also value not drowning, and I just cannot find the bus that goes to Guam.

Money is nice, but time is priceless!

Not even Warren Buffet or Bill Gates is going to be able to buy even one more day when God calls their numbers!

Money can be made & lost & made & lost!

Once you have spent, wasted, invested even one second, it is unrecoverable!

Don't forget the hours of waiting in the airport. Be sure and load up on bean burritos beforehand to give the TSAer's something to talk about.
