Are you in Illinois? My house lost power last night for about 20 minutes.

I'll drive you to the airport. But first you'd have to pick me up at the airport.

I got lucky. Everything went just north or just south of me. We were all waiting around for Armageddon and it never came. Sounds like the south side got hammered though. Glad you're OK.

If you live in northern Illinois, that would be my fault. I came up to visit Winds and made the mistake of thinking about camping or camping equipment. When I got within about 100 miles of Chicago, the sky changed from clear blue to a dark, angry grey. Next thing I know I'm getting a text from Winds saying the power just went off in her house and would I please stop thinking about camping.

LMAO. They call me the Rainman for a reason. Come to think of it, I'm laughing at a joke from the ride up here yesterday. OK maybe there's more than one reason!

Food for thought. By the time you add parking fees and a rental car to the airfare, it's usually cheaper to drive yourself.

Whew! For a minute there I thought we had a Piper Cub and a Smart Car mating. Was just about to report the post. I thought photos of mating activities belonged in the Bunker!

SO , i wake up , grab some smokes and hit the turdlet . Looking out the window at miserable hottest day yet coming on I see two squirrels playing on my porch .
They jump up on the railing and the one in front raises his '' or her'' tail and hunches up .
'' Wait .... Is he about to ....... oh oh oh OH YEA ''
Early morning squirrel pudding , I would have paid 100 for one of my SxS or the judge with some 000 buck right about then to blow them off the deck in mid stroke .

Mean , I know but at least they would have gone out on a good note

No kidding. With things the way they are these days I would much rather drive any given place if I have the time. best cast i will take the RV and make a trip of it. I was hoping to do that back in January- just take a road trip- but life got in the way. Maybe this summer?
