That is very damn close to what I had in mind.

That would be pretty trick as long as it was easier to operate everything with the one hand.

The thumb hole **** would have to be dropped, at the very least.

They obviously did not make the Buckmark to be ergonomically efficient. It looks far cooler than it feels by a very wide margin.

But it looks like a good starting point. My sons and I all have large hands, so our opinion may not be aligned with someone with smaller hands.

I think the forestock on a 1911 of a similar design should emulate or evoke the shape of the revered 1911 grips. That would be badass.

We get up to him and apparently they were preparing to serve a warrant on the people squatting on the bank owned property that shares a driveway with the Smiths (No surprise there) when we opened fire and scared the Hell out of them, hence the phone calls from Dispatch. Apparently they were unaware that the properties were that close together. LOL!
That's a hell of a day at the range when you scare the $hit out of the LEOs!

Yeah. It was pretty funny for all of us after they realized what was going on. I'm just glad that we hadn't opened up with each of the three of us shooting two handed!

I stopped over to the older Smiths (the parents house) to tell them we had come across their property (being courteous). The old man was in his studio practicing guitar and his wife was having a cocktail and had heard us shooting and it was no big deal (the old man used to be a fast draw exhibition shooter- if you have ever seen The Magnificent Seven, Yul Brynner's outfit was lifted directly from this guy's costume!). They were laughing when their son (my age) got home with his wife and kid. Then he started laughing about it. After the Deputies cleared the property they came over and talked to us. Said something about being glad we were on "their side".

You might look into getting a wheel chair equipped van if you need to take care of him as the 4 to5 year old ones in good shape can often be bought very cheaply.
No, he is not a veteran. Usually he travels to doctors appointments by a community medical van. I rarely have to transport him on my own.

Why should she change her will? By the time we're reading her will, all medical decisions will have already been made.

I know that. I want to give my Dad, and ultimately my sister, control over their own lives for as long as possible. It's a dignity thing.
