Nah, grinding a chipping down to metal. This is a couple days old. It's primered now. Imagine being in a metal box with a pneumatic air hammer going to town. Blah

Looks like about an inch thick layer of ice. If it covers much of the boat, you don't want to rock it for fear of capsizing. But what's that much ice doing on a Kentucky tow boat in freaking JUNE!!!

Edit: OK, I feel stupid.

My berth on the Whidbey Island was right below one of the gun decks. The Navy side decided to do a night fire without telling us (for sh!ts and giggles we later discovered).

Imagine being asleep in said tin can, but instead of an air hammer, it's a 25MM chain gun that suddenly awakens you at 0200.

When I move into new house, need to get back into the weight sets. I've lost some size!

Would a weight gainer help? Or just make me fatter? I think my arms are around 18" now so a little smaller than this time last year. I don't need to get fatter, but looking for a way to help out size back on. Workout is not really an issue. My job is my gym. Help?!

Don't take a weight gainer unless you're lifting. This also means that if you're lifting at home and taking it, QUIT taking it when you go back on the boat.

Just like weight LOSS supplements, they're designed to work in conjunction with a change of lifestyle.

In this case, the change of lifestyle being a dedicated weight training regimen.

It could help you maintain mass while on the boat since you have such a physically demanding job, so maybe you could just cut back a little when you go to work? I don't know, but if I had to venture an educated guess, I would say "don't touch it while you aren't regularly working out."
