A while ago someone posted a very funny little blurb about the differences in boot camp between all the military branches. It was funny as heck. I want to share it with a friend as we were laughing about the different military branches and what those guys think of themselves. We were interviewing police candidates and many had military service and since my fellow commissioner is a former Navy guy, we got to discussing the different branches.

Does anyone remember that post? Can anyone link me to it or repost it? I searched but couldn't find it.

A buddy of mine works for Daniel Defense. Apparently, yesterday, they gave a mortgage free home to a wounded/disabled veteran at the NRA thingamabob. Gives my heart that warm and fuzzy crap.

Default Life just got good!

Just finished my LAST final test of my college career. *fewww* (WINDS: I now need a relieved emoticon)

Now I get my Officers Commission into the Navy on Friday, Graduate on Saturday, and get married in a little over two weeks.....and have orders in a month.

Time for a short breather and then back to the grind I guess...

FA35- Congratulations! Most excellent! Wonderful! Let the party begin! Bring forth the nectars, nubiles, and the BBQ'd Unicorns!

Now the bad news....

Think that was your last class? HAH!

Not counting civilian education, I STAYED in class in the Army! You will probably have an Officer's Basic course. To go from 0-3 to 0-4, We had the Officer's Advanced Course. The CAS cubed. Then Command & General Staff College. Then the Army War College.

And now, as a civilian, I don't have to do that.

And I will be going back to college this fall (part time) to pick up some additional engineering classes. Oh- I also teach part time. Blasting & explosives.

Hey, it's not gay if you're underway. At least that's what they kept trying to say...
