Piece of $hit 3rd gen Firebird. Would love to find an original '69.

I was with a girl once that owned that GN - she was as fast as her car was!

i like the 1969 models, but have always been partial to the 2nd generation models. had a few of them over the years.

came real close one time in the early 90's to buying a 1987 Buick GN. instead bought a new Dodge Ram!

I would take a '71 in a heartbeat as well. I've wanted either of them since I was a teen. Almost had a '76, but when my dad saw what the guy had done with the engine and trans, that was the end of that. The guy was a total gearhead, and I was plastered to the seat on the test drive.

I'd say the truck was the better option in the long run.

Bought a 69 Z28 back when I was in Flight School for the Army. Car could pass anything except a gas station. Would also travel faster than my helicopter.

one of my favorites, was my 1978 Formula. black with the gold striping, black velour interior, 220 hp 400 with the Muncie 4 speed manual trans. bought it from a real close friend and fellow Pontiac fanatic. sold it back to him to make sure it didn't get involved in my divorce from my second wife.

here's some pictures of one. mine was very similar except mine had the 8" wide snowflakes.
