That's because they thought it would be a good idea to lower the compression ratios to help with NoX...

Is there a good quality, preferably American made, .45ACP carbine out there that takes 1911 mags?

I saw this doodad at my lgs when I was home, you take your 1911 remove the slide, slide this doodad on. It has a wire folding stock and a long barrel. Purty nifty. $360 IIRC.

Sorry don't think it takes those mags.

Edit. It takes 1911 mags for 45, different mags for 9mm.

Expensive tho.

after a week of camping in NW Arkansas there is no doubt I would rather watch a campfire than any and all cable channels.

I shoot a tippman 98 custom, response trigger, 32 degrees barrel, can't remember brand of powered hopper, and a bsa red dot scope. I tape on a slip on recoil pad onto the air tank.

I only played once last year, with a dozen or so people. Used to twice a month.

Is that the Whisper barrel? I'm guessing you're liking that one! We've got 2 Tippmann A5's. One with a 12" BigShot and the other with a 14" Apex2. Otherwise standard. No problems withe stock hopper other than it's a bit bulky. Swapped out the paddles in the cyclone. For the recreational play we do, they work great. But always looking for a better barrel. We've got several fields here, but Paintball Explosion and CPX are the biggies, with several big games throughout the year. We usually go to a couple, but those are just killer on paint costs. Only thing I hate about the game. Love Capture the Flag, but really it comes down to the last two minutes. We put together a coordinated attack today at the end after being down most of the game and won. But we'll opt for the 15-20 minute games and rotate fields usually when given the option.

We think that a powerful and vigorous movement is impossible without differences — "true conformity" is possible only in the cemetery.
