He moved to a higher elevation... That would generally cause it to be rich though if I'm thinking correctly, which is questionable after all the information that has been crammed into my head over the last week.

Nah, higher elevation means less pressure and less dense air which would cause a rich burn. A lean burn would cause overheating, oxygen isn't flammable but it increases combustion temperatures.

Well, i had it in the shop for four months. My luck... honda said what happened had never happened before... and shouldn't have been possible.
Anyhow, the shop sent it to me with the pilot needle all the way locked down, so i loosened it out to where the spec said, so ill carefully reseat it nearly all the way, then back it out one and a half turns.
Btw, its not poppibg on decel
And it's onnnnly 4000 feet difference
So

No , I am runnin rich , maybe too rich .
Carb work ? Me , I thought yall knew me by now . I am the effing carburetor guru , Gods gift to the carburetor world , the carburetor whisperer , I am a therapist that resolves conflict between the carb and its engine
I am lucky the deck or the head did not get flame cut , id be up chit creek with no paddle and a sinking boat . Wait ....... thats my life anyway
After the weekend I had ...... i doubt anything this week is going to phase me , I found it comical to see a big chunk of gasket sticking out of my newly assembled engine . '' **ck it , had fun doing it ''
It went on the trophy wall after I pulled everything apart again

Notice I say engine and not motor . Motors are electric and engines are fuel
I had to hit that dead horse just one more time LMAO

Unless his intentions don't line up with Winds expectations! I could see Winds being effective in her "communications"...
