This machine (mine, not the loaner) has Windows 8 on it and I am having this issue when I am typing along and for some reason the cursor moves somewhere else on the page and starts inserting my words there. Depending on what sort of doc

OK, there now, all the sudden a window popped up for Windows Media Player Install, a program I never use. Ever. Don't know why it came up, I was just typing along. WTF?

so anyhow, depending on the document I am writing it can be a major problem for me, as I have to figure out where the cursor moved to, and where it should have been, how much of what I wrote got moved, etc., etc., and then try and get my mind back into what I was writing when I got derailed.

I hate my computer. I keep thinking of getting an Mac because they are so much more user-friendly for the non-techie (Hell, around here there are just as many techies who love Macs as non-techies).

OK, the "print" window just came up and I was nowhere near the damned "P" or the "ctrl" button. WTF!!!!????

The Mac preferences are probably much more prevalent here near Apple's Ground Zero though. Lots of people employed by them here.
I have the EXACT same damn problem. I figured out that I'm inadvertently touching the mouse panel...

Had our date for our 2 year anniversary yesterday. Went to keeneland to watch the horse races, got to sit in a VIP box thanks to a nice lady who works there. That was pretty cool good seats and it was a good time.

Tried to "recreate" some things from our first date and our first days together. I.e. first place for a kiss and things like that. So we went to the restaurant we had our first date. It was romantic at thought, I ordered something different. A Thai pizza......

Never

Again.

We had decided to go on home as we were tired and didn't like any of the movies playing. About 30-45 min after I ate that pizza. Up it came. Nice. Lmao.

Never.

Again.

Saul Good was the restaurant.

Some pics.

Ky, that was an awesome night for you two. How romantic...............minus the throwing up part.

I'm glad you had a good anniversary.

If you use a mouse, you should be able to turn the pad off.

You can also change the sensitivity in the control panel. My old HP had a little button on the mouse pad itself that would turn it off and on.

Had my daughter today alone as the wife went to visit her friend. We've had a good day, met up with some old friends at sportsmans warehouse got something for the AR, then had lunch at canes. My daughter loves chicken lol, so after that we went around harbor freight.

Love that place, picked up a machete on sale for $5.00 can't beat that. Good truck knife. Daughter fell asleep in the store while she was being carried.

I drove around aimlessly for a hour so my daughter could sleep, then went to one park, she had fun on the swings. To many kids for the slide, in the rich part of town the kids are not being watched while their mothers play real housewives of fayette county.....

Came home and went to the one in our complex, met a nice fella and his two HYPERacitve kids. Nice folks. Now, time to fix something simple for supper.
