Winds, if that's all you do, you won't have any major trouble I think. Those basic activities are pretty much unchanged.

His first day going solo after OJT, he filled all the potholes in our driveway. He ain't stopped since.

But the brown paper bag part.... hey. Just think of how much money I'm saving the city on gas and lawn equipment maintenance!!
I think I'd like Big Bubba.

My oldest son's fiancee has a new Windows 8 computer. They are struggling with it. Son said it would basically be unusable to me and with my struggles with technology. He also said just buy an Acer laptop. Cheaper and good for what I want. I just search the web, check Facebook, go on FTF, etc. I don't do anything fancy at all. No need for anything really fancy. I just might go with an Acer. But for now I have to fund myself for my son's wedding in Jamaica. That travel and lodging has all been taken care of but I need a dress for the rehearsal dinner, a dress for the wedding itself, swim wear, etc. Did I mention I'm spending a couple days with Canebrake and his wife on the way home from the wedding? Yeah, I am. Gonna shoot The Canebrake. I'm as excited to meet Cane and wife as I am for my son's wedding.

I think I'd like a laptop better than a tablet. I want a "real keyboard". I wonder how much it would cost to have it made into a Windows 7?
I thought you said he wanted to sell you an HP laptop for $100.

Not sure how much it would cost. They basically just have to remove Windows 8, and install Windows 7.

I cannot really tell the difference between the internet on Windows 7 and Windows 8. They are almost identical. You can also use Firefox.

Okay. Yeah, I don't do much with a computer except play on it. Ebay, Amazon, FTF, Facebook, email, etc.

I'm afraid of the Windows 8. I probably will buy his HP laptop for $100. How could I go wrong. Even if I don't like it (and I know I will), I'm sure I can get my $100 out of it by selling it once again. He won't sell it to me until he buys a new one in a month or so, he said.

that would give you time to research and see if you like Windows 8 or want it changed over to Windows 7. for the price, i don't think you can go wrong. because even if you don't like it, i feel you could at least get your money back selling it.

Heard from my nephew at the gun show; that annoying .22 magnum is no longer with me and has gone to a happy home.
