Dang , got the top end off and its still stock . Time for 1250 conversion but the pistons and walls look perfect which is amazing considering the hell I have put that bike through .

My granddaughter and I are having a pajama party at my place tonight. I love having her spend the night. We have so much fun together.

What year 750/4? I had a 73 with a 78 engine for some years. I loved it, riding it and working with it. It spent a year or so with the engine on my coffee table; I hate phillipshead screws/bolts, switched them all to allen headed, had some other stuff to do to it then to, dang carbs.

MAAAAANNNN can you imagine that chain slapping you in the ass or thigh at a high speed ? ooooooowwwwwwwch
Well here is the parts list
Chain and sprockets
New pistons and cylinders 883 to 1200
Carb trick kit
May do some head work
New front sprocket cover ..... again
Solo springer seat
Anti reversion cones for exithaust
Dont know if I want to change cams right now , I should but Dont think it safe for me to get too much power too quick .

Anyone got any expuriance polishing aluminum ?
Trying to polish the rocker boxes with dremel tool and fine polish but not turning out like I want , may just powder coat or hell Duracoat would be cool

I was told to use a DA sander, 150 250 and then 400 a buffing wheel and some brown rouge, polish it right up. Or an acid wash and mother's aluminum polish, it's hard work though...

I like the Duracoat idea but will Duracoat hold up to that much constant heat? Only one way to find out...
