I've had dreams where I keep shooting center mass on a bg and they don't go down. They keep trying to attack.

Don't know but hopefully the investigation will determine whether it was human error, ammunition failure or a mechanical failure

God I hate Harry Reid and the Democraps trying to make political hay on the backs of 7 dead Marines, every bit as bad as their dancing in the blood of the dead children from Sandy Hook over gun control:

I had several dreams of getting shot with a blackpowder pistol, the ball didn't even fully penetrate my chest. I could see the ball barely sticking out. Must have got their powder wet.

Ummmm- 60 mm mortar is a smoothbore- does not spin. There IS a bore riding safety that is released by firing, rides against the inside of the bore, PINGS free about 10 ft above the muzzle.

Do not know what fuze was in use- human error possible (once saw a kid try to hang a second round before the first made it all the way down the tube) but the investigators will be going thru that with a fine toothed comb.

And all that fiddle with HE and artillery- light a candle to St. Barbara.

I'm never armed in my dreams. I'm generally being chased by someone or something, don't know what.... Or I have bad dreams about things that have happened...

I thought 60's spin and 82's were smooth? I haven't seen one up close in about 7 years...
