That would be my only issue.
He took the knife away... That's a tough one.

As I always understood it, open carry is perfectly legal... As long as you have a concealed carry permit, because the firearm will always be "concealed in whole, or in part" as long as it's in a holster.

But he's saying it changes July 1st...
The "all or in part" language has been taken out of the law this session. How that effects open carry I am not sure. What I read was, that it was taken out to protect cc persons in case they were adjusting their clothing and the firearm was seen.

Yeah, its impossible to tell. That's what I have been telling my friends who knew her. If a drunk person came at me with a knife and I got it away, then they tried to get it back, there is no telling what happened and what a person was thinking. The landlord (another gal) didn't call 911, but maybe she didn't think the wound was life threatening? Who knows. Seems to me there would have been a hell of a lot of blood though.

Oh, and one of the conditions of her living there was no alcohol. She had been on hard times, lost her home a couple of years ago etc., and would "sneak in" a drinkey poo when she thought she wouldn't get caught. Life was hard on her for the last few years.

Oh, you know, just a bunch of awesome people talking about guns, among other things; which, in the interest of not scaring you off right away, we won't discuss.
