So would that make you "pissed off" or "pissed on"?

I got a question for all of you guys on here, has any of you noticed a sudden influx of people moving into your state? I never really noticed before where I live, but I discovered recently that approximately 1.5 million people have moved into my state in the last five to ten years. Yet, I never noticed it before until after I went to my state's archives population records. So what about you guys? Any growth in your locations and at what parts? The reason why I ask is because the topic has been brought up in other places that I check out about an influx of Americans moving out of the urban centers and how should we say "less than desirable political climate" in their current state's governmental system. I'm just curious to know if there is any truth to that.

Maybe that's why my state turned red all of a sudden in just one election cycle. You "common sense Californians" all moved here!

My family moved out to the sticks of south Az in '88. 1 of 6 houses down our dirt road separated by 4 to 6 acres each. Now it looks like the burbs. Anyways I was out riding the quad about a year ago and was flagged down by an old man in one of the newest houses on my street at about 1:00 in the afternoon. He proceeded to come down all fire and brimstone about how he "Didn't move out to the country to listen to that sh**!" " I replied "Well you cant do this in the city, which is why my family moved to the sticks in the first place" And respectfully drove off. no burn out, no dick move, just drove off. This old man has been a complete ******* since.

but yeah.. it sucks I miss the vast open valley, and cringe at the thought of my beloved town looking like that mess up north we call Phoenix. At this rate, it'll be pretty soon.

I wonder why whenever I buy more than one bagel the second one will be stale the next day, the lady said to put it in a plastic bag though and that should keep it fresher.

I also wonder if I will work friday, if I do that means I have been working from this past sunday all the way until next thursday (55 hours next week, nice overtime money but I'll be a little worn out.)

I bought this farm in 1973 and was working at Western Electric at the time as a full time job. The county HiWay Dept came and wanted to buy gravel as they had bought it here several years prior.

Opened the gravel pit in 1975 with a small shooting range as I had joined the local Sheriff's Dept and we trained in the pit.

A house came up for auction that I owned the property on 3 sides of - - - I bid more than what I thought it was worth but a couple from Indianapolis bought it. Right away they hired a lawyer to get the gravel pit shut down - - - Lawyers on both sides made money but they lost - - - later another couple bought the house and filed suit to stop my cattle feeding operation as they did not like the smell - - - lawyers made money again and they sold out - - - next family filed suit as the trucks would kick up dust - - - my lawyer pointed out that I owned a 26' wide easement thru their 2 acres and if they did not want my dust I would abandon my road and come thru their property - - - they dropped the suit and have lived there about 10 years now. I should point out I use a water wagon on the roads several times a day to keep dust under control, I keep the roads ( including their drive ) clean of snow and mowed. I inject the manure and try to do it on days cold enough that the people would have their windows closed - - - by injecting the manure the smell will last only about 1 day.

Why do people come out and buy what they can and then start telling the people that are already there how to live - - - I guess it takes all kinds to make a world. If you do not like the activity in an area go somewhere else and spend your money.
