The Wrangler will hold it's value better. And for that reason, I recommend just buying new. The resale value is too high, and you can get a lifetime warranty with a new one.
I sold dodges, Jeeps and Chryslers for a short time. There's also not nearly as much dealer markup on the Wrangler, but that also translates into very little negotiating room. Which is part of the reason their resale value is so high.
Expect to save no more than a few hundred bucks off the sticker price if you get one. On the plus side, you can resell it at nearly new price five years later.
