I gave up on it. I have made adjustments in my diet because of it though. I really wish that I had some support here at home, but that isn't going to happen.

I will say though that cutting back on refined sugar is critical to good health, eliminating all artificial sweeteners is essential (I use honey as a sweetener almost exclusively these days). I have also eliminated milk, and cut back on cheese, etc. (milk products). Also cut back on anything that has gluten. Oh yeah, and I quit drinking.

Physically it has helped.

Whole grain bread, and low carb dark chocolate helps the cravings. And not a pound of it at a time, trip.

I swear carbs are addictive. As you reduce your intake of carbs I guarantee you that you'll start craving "good" foods like oranges, veggies, etc. I know it's hard to believe but it's true. You quit smoking? Now you have to quit carbs. It won't be easy but well worth it.

I'm too weak to cut carbs.... or smoking... or dip... or motorcycles... or guns... it's a slippery slope, quit one you might quit all

Actually, I'm thinking of trading the smoking in for dip... easier. Id sorta quit until may of last year, but in a span of a few hours i was quite the smoker again.
