trip , how did you loose the screw ? fall out while shooting or lost while working on it ?

All my screws are loose... 
I scrubbed everything down in a pot. Changed the water, rinsed everything, oiled it all, and was transferring everything to the table to wipe off the excess oil.
I had it in my hand, by itself. I turned to drop it on my mat on the table... And it wasn't there. I dragged a magnet over the floor, then swept the floor and ran a magnet through the dust pan, then vacuumed the floor and ran a magnet through the bagless basket thingy... Nothing. It disappeared into thin air.

Considering I threw out 4 garbage bags of random stuff from my kitchen, and I still have too much junk... Yeah, it may be.

Trip did you check the trap in the drain pipe ?
I loose carb parts all the time while rinsing off and they always end up in the trap .
You should know when you drop small parts that they have the ability to fly off in the other dimension , the same dimension exist under and behind my work benches .
I had the extractor blow out of my ruger 10-22 '' dont ask how '' and I some how found it with a 50lb retrieval magnet in the dirt and leaves , also found the rusty one that blew out before that one .
Rounds are not pleasant when they fire off before chambering
