Well, I finally got around to using Ruger's gun rights advocacy form to have my voice heard on the issue. (Hey leave me alone alright? I've been busy, plus I've been supporting the movement in other ways too.) I will admit that I am surprised that I have recevied an automated e-mail from every one of my representatives (including the governor of my state), plus responses specific to the issue at hand, but not one from our dear Commander in Chief's office. I wonder if they are compiling all the names of those who send e-mails to make a political hit list. Now I'm a bit worried.... :S

Oh wait, nevermind. I'm already on that list as a gun owner, it's called the NICS database.

My zebra danio fish lose their stripes at night when I turn the lights off in the fish tank.

It bugs me when people use engine and motor interchangeably...

i always was of the thinking an engine ran from combustion, either gasoline, diesel, LPG, or ect.,, and a motor was run by electricity.

I wonder if Cane is thinking, "Dammit!! I didn't think she'd ever get down here to visit or I wouldn't have invited her."

i doubt it. if he hadn't wanted you to come down and visit with him, he probably wouldn't have invited you in the first place. he's way too classy a guy to do something like that.

LOL, I actually read a huge article with two engineers going back and forth on just that subject. Absolutely pointless, yet fascinating somehow. According to them, no there is no right answer. Its one of those things that's annoying but somehow acceptable. Kind of like calling it a TV set when there's only one.

No, it isn't, motors are electric... There is a difference.

Yes yes, I have heard that. I also read an automotive engineer refer to the engine as a motor. Long story short, it goes back to the twenties. I am not getting drug into an argument started by engineers and auto mechanics 90 goddam years ago. I don't care.

I just thought the comment was funny. electric=motor combustion=engine. fine. whatever.
