Shopmate almost just bought a sig 556 for 2500.00 !
Had to put a halt to that deal ,
Well I dont have a high powered rifle !
have you considered the SKS ?
whats that

Brings up a good question , what is a good but cheap HPR ? Say 500.00 and under even with the current hype

The way i see it , it still has a good steel belt under that flaking rubber skin .
I do ride it but just to town and its 35-45mph the whole time , well thats the speed limit anyway and its about 3 miles round trip .
That last rolling burnout did not help it either

I still think thats funny as hell Viking , maybe our local bear lover ?

Just imagine the a$% end going out from underneath you uncontrollably, that "only 45 mph" is pretty fast. Nuff said.

BTW, rolling burnouts ARE fun.

In my opinion, the 556 or 7.62x39 aren't high powered but intermediate. A high powered rifle for less than 500.00 in todays market ? I would look to your local trade papers for a 742 semi, 760,7600 pump, or a bolt gun in 308 or 06. Those 2 calibers are USUALLY cheaper and available. Like I said, usually.

OR if a good looking girl was close enough I would spout out how good she looked and be as obnoxious as possible and asked what he thought about her .
Damn those were the good days

I got a 70 , missed the UZI , 1st autoloading and the enfield one
Sometimes I will grab a buddy's phone when its ringing and answer it with "XXXX Police Department. Seargent Smith, narcotics." and listen to the silence. Unfortunately my voice is so distinctive anybody who knows me will recognize me in just a few words. I did this last night and was immediately recognized.

Dude, rolling burnouts on a bald tire are like slipping on a banana peel. Falling off a log. Nothing to it.
