Fiat spelled it Spyder. and my father had a Corvair back in the late 60's. he ended up trading it in for his very first new car, a 1967 VW Bug! he kept that Bug until the mid 1970's. we loved the Bug! we called it Herbie! we tried to get dad to paint in white and put the #53 on it. he never did.

Actually no.... I dont think theres any AMC's I want (Not even one of those Goofy Jeeps )
Just International, Cadillac, DeLorean, and Tucker.. I have a Ford but it was a car my dad and his best friend built in the 50's, and the friend gave it to my dad on death bed... Its priceless to me...

I misunderstood, but Ford is one of the very, very few car companies that is still in existence in its original form. It is the only American car company that old.
Have you ever driven a Model T? At 45 MPH it feels like you are going the speed of sound. And then there is the no brakes thing. That is what made driving a challenge my friend! The Model T was indeed a great car. My best friend has a 1925 T Opera Coupe and we take it out all the time (its his favorite car to drive to the range). The thing is just a gas to drive.

Trez, i liked the IH Scout of the late 70's and early 80's. they were pretty cool. one of the guys i went to high school would drive his dad's Scout to school. believe it or not, it got almost as much attention as the new Camaros or Mustangs did.

I learned how to drive in a 1964 IH crew cab pickup truck, so yes I have. My father in law had an 80, I think it was a '63. I almost had it back in the family but lost it by a couple of days. I couldn't get a trailer to pick it up.

My buddy's dad had a sexy Nash. I think it was a Hollywood? Very rare car though. I got to drive it once, but only on their private roads (he owned a winery in Hollister at the time so they had plenty of private roads to drive on). Never got to open it up though.

What did they call those little things? There was one down the street from the gas station I worked at years and years ago that never moved. I always wanted that thing!
