Ford Model T. Say what you will but they changed the face of automotive history. I would call that "GOOD!!!

Back in the late '80's I bought a lime green 1973 Fiat 850 Spyder (that's a convertible for all you non-autophiles out there) for $50 from the auto tech program at the community college I was going to. Somebody had donated it with a blown head gasket. I fixed it after school and drove it home and used it to commute with for a year. It didn't have a top so I carried an umbrella in the rain. I had to do the head gasket a few more times, but that thing was FUN! It wasn't very fast, but if you set it up right you could corner like a skateboard. Set it up wrong and it would spin faster than spit.

I ended up selling it to the same guy twice for $200 each time.

mine was 1978 124 Spyder. bright red with a tan interior. fun to drive but was gutless! traded it for a 1975 Pontiac Lemans Sport Coupe that needed an engine. here's what mine looked like.

Trez, is an AMC Gremlin on the list of cars you would like to own? I really don't think there is any hope for you...

I never got any pictures of my Fiat that I can remember. They are tiny little cars, quite a bit smaller than your 124. I am 6'3" and when driving it I had to wear safety glasses because I had to look over the windshield!

hey, hey, the Gremlin was kind of cool in a nerdy way! put some Cragar SS mags on it with white letter 60's and some stripes down the center and a hood scoop!

I said modern like the last 50 yrs or so.... The Model T was popular because people could afford it, not because it was "great".. Whats a model T's 0-60?? OH, thats right it had a top speed of 45.... And I dont have to worry about breaking my arm to start a DeLorean

Fiat spelled it Spyder. and my father had a Corvair back in the late 60's. he ended up trading it in for his very first new car, a 1967 VW Bug! he kept that Bug until the mid 1970's. we loved the Bug! we called it Herbie! we tried to get dad to paint in white and put the #53 on it. he never did.

Actually no.... I dont think theres any AMC's I want (Not even one of those Goofy Jeeps )

Just International, Cadillac, DeLorean, and Tucker.. I have a Ford but it was a car my dad and his best friend built in the 50's, and the friend gave it to my dad on death bed... Its priceless to me...
