Of course it's stupid. That's why I gave up wasting perfectly good brain cells watching it and quit watching after a couple of episodes. Those numbnuts don't help the gun rights cause a bit.

Gotta go spend a couple of hours waiting on The Boss to get her hair permed in the morning, then we're off to rid someone's yard of bamboo canes. Machete, check. Stout loppers, check. Shovel for digging starts of bamboo, check. Beer for later, check. *... Just realized that once again, I'm planning to work harder on my day off than I ever work at work...

For the record, bamboo makes THE BEST bean poles. Absolutely.

IIRC, the engine in the DeLorean was made by Renault.

I would ask what the hell DeLorean was on when he designed that car, but we all know the answer to that question.

the reason i knew that was back in the late 1990's when my brother did general automotive work in his shop, we had the chance to work on three of those Deloreans for a gentleman that was a collector. at that time is was difficult to get parts for them. we got to some research on them. kind of neat cars in many ways, but some part of them were very hard to work on.

one of them i worked on only showed 55 miles on the odometer! people were just amazed at them when they came in the shop. the guy got several offerson them, but he was a collector not a seller.

Yup, they were very cool, but gutless. Then again, I was driving a Triumph TR6 in those days, so how smart could I have been? Fast, but a hobby car fer shure.

i had a 1978 Fiat Spyder convertable in the early 1980's. 4 cyl. w/ a 5spd trans. showed 140 on the speedometer. trust me, that car would never hit 140 mph! but it was a cool car none the less!
