This is ridiculous!!!! I'm watching a show on the military channel called "Deadliest Tech" and they just used the word CLIP!!!! They were talking about the military going from the 1911 to the M9.

Today I put the only two dolls I own in a box, I get this feeling I'm going to sleep better tonight.

No. I put a lot of other things in the box with them... They will come back out of the box when I move into my apartment. I only keep them because one was given to me by my Grandmother, the other was given to me by the lady that taught me piano lessons for almost twelve years.

i have never in my life seen so many people obsessed with turning perfectly good shotguns into hd guns in my life.

and its always a mossy, remington, or some other poor mechanical soul about to be destroyed.

who in gods name taught these goons that pistol grips and folding stocks were needed?
but even worse, having to cut off bbls and make them all 18"?????

here you have a great gun as is from the store, able to hunt, shoot clays, and shoot bad guys if need be.
but no, some goon gets this idea he needs to make it short,$$$$, throws away a perfectly good stock,$$$$, puts on a folding stock,$$$$, and then the kicker is...he puts it in his closet and never shoots it.

by the time he's done, hes got more invested in a piece of crap than a resellable gun for the next generation to admire.

and, if they ever outlaw those accessories on shotguns some day, then what? you kick yourself wishing you still had the old parts.

so, to all you crazed hd shotgun owners...have to ever heard this saying?

youre measuring with a micrometer....('tell me whats the best gun for hd? i dont have much money so i want to know which will give me more bang for the buck.')

marking it with chalk..............('i want to cut down my bbl and put a pg on it.')

cutting it with an axe...........('look, i had my mossy 500 cut down and had a 10 round tube put on it, heres my pg and folding stock, isnt it cool?')('what kind of ammo should i use?')

there...thats my random thought.

I happen to own one of those shotguns. It's a Mossberg Model 500 with a pistol grip/collapsible stock, 18" barrel, and is perfect for home defense. A hunting shotgun is a bad choice because they are too long. Try rounding a corner with a 28" barrel.
I didn't make mine like that, it was made like that from the factory. There's nothing wrong with doing that to one. There are TONS of Remington 870s and Mossberg 500s out there. Why shouldn't people make them what they want?
Oh, and people were cutting down shotgun barrels since before you were born. That's nothing new. Just ask the US military.

It's because of your post like this that I am a no for your shoot. If someone owns a h/d shotgun they are a "goon". You have every right to your thoughts as well the right to share them here. I have the right to pick the company I keep on my days off.

Did your house payment go up $200 for all 12 payments? I no longer have my taxes and insurance in escrew but when I did, sometimes the first 2-3 payments of a new fiscal year would be higher to make up for any shortage but then would return to normal after the shortage was caught up.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Bobski is offering a great opportunity at a very good price for us FTF'ers. He is as entitled as anyone else here to post his opinion. Goon? I've deleted posts that used much, much worse name calling than 'goon'.
