Good for you, Cinder. I've managed to make it 54 years without having to take a sobriety test of any sort while driving. I intend to keep that trend going.

Pfffft! One of the off-campus frats at State wouldn't let you leave unless somebody in the car could pass a breathalyzer test. I have had a couple small breathalyzers for party purposes myself.

Only test i had to take for a cop was the "pen test", at which point he determined me to be competent to drive.

Well, I've never hung out in a frat house.... There was probably a reason for that...

But yeah, I've never had any kind of sobriety test ever. But since I started this job I've had 4 drug tests.

Oh, the frat had many members who were friends of mine...also had a goat.

I've never taken a drug test. I had a job with a neat lil badge for about ten years and a job as an adjunct community college instructor for about ten years with no drug test. I'm almost certain i have given more reason for employers to be suspicious of my sobriety.

The officer observes how your eyes move as you track a shiny pen or other object from the center of your vision to the edges of your peripheral vision.

I have never had a DUI test of any sort.

Sue: Why would they? Just because the gun is there?

Me: Some people think so...

Sue: Well some people are stoopid...

Me: But what would stop people from killing each other with machine guns?

Sue: You have a gun. You don't kill people. (Downsouth) has a gun, he don't kill people. Aunt (my sister) has a gun, she doesn't kill people. Granny has a gun, she don't kill people either. Everybody I know has a gun, and none of them kill people... Why would people kill other people just because the gun they have shoots faster?

I believe my seven year old has more "horse sense" than the entire democratic party combined...
It's not the speed that it shoot that makes it a killer. It's the pistol grips or the folding stocks that kill people.

Go ahead and tell Sue. He'll probably place you in the same category as those "some people..."
