Lol, I guess you missed that! "Sue" is the nickname Downsouth gave him.

It also loses actual or future local club members who just don't want to renew/join the NRA and/or reject being forced to do one thing to do another. So, the local club loses many potential members for its own sake which has to come first.

I equate the enormously wasteful way that the NRA floods members with to spam. 100% of the time I am not at all interested in whatever it is that the spammers are trying to sell (much in contrast to the NRA- I am deeply interested in what they represent), but the fact that they keep trying to sell me some porn, or boner pills or whatever despite the fact that I do not want it, need it and it offends me, well, offends me! If I get a hankering for some porn, I am sure I can find it pretty easily.
I only have a very limited amount of discretionary income that I can devote to various causes. My NRA membership is one of the causes that I will scrape a little deeper for, but I cannot possibly afford any more. Even if my circumstances change for the better it would still be quite awhile before I could afford to give more. The simple fact is that my membership in itself is all I can do. And that is something.
When they send me membership reminders all year round and completely regardless of what my actual membership status is I find that to be deeply wasteful and deeply insulting. I own a couple of small businesses. I work very hard to earn what I make and I am very careful with how I spend my money. One of those areas I deal with every year is advertising and promotion. This is very expensive to do, so I carefully work out what will be my biggest return on my dollar and go with that. Sometimes I miss, but usually I do not. I know for a fact (being in business myself) that the NRA spends more in promoting themselves to members like me who cannot afford more (though not to me because I have signed up for the "do not promote" option) than those people have paid annually in dues.
I would actually prefer that they spent my money in buying off those bastards in Washington rather than trying to sell me on the NRA.
Still a paid member. Still a supporter. Still gonna question how they spend their money. Same as I do with our representatives in Washington. Anything less would be dishonest to myself. I pay my NRA dues and I vote. That gives me every right to question.

Wasn't it Metallica that pretty much led the push against napster? Do any of you even remember napster?
Which of them was it that turned into a whiny little b!tch over it? It was the short one I think...
I just pirated all of their published works. Fuggem. I've already paid for it. Can't help it all the CD's have been lost or damaged during the last 20 years.
Well, I pirated all their works except for St. Anger. I wouldn't pay a cold dog turd for that album. Again....

Lucky! The NRA doesn't send me any porn. In all seriousness, the NRA sends me way too much crap as well. It really frustrates me, but I think the NRA is a worthy cause. (Even if they send you all the porn)

Lars, the drummer, was passionate against napster. I don't really blame him, it is taking profit from them, and by now it is probably quite a bit. Not that I don't have any burnt cds.
St anger sucked, the newer one wasn't bad. Imo, they will never be the same without Jason, the bassist. Nothing against the new guy, they just dont seem to have the togetherness. Justice is the best album, followed by lightening, and black.

I'm cold, I'm tired, I have presents to wrap, my stomach is sick, I want chicken soup but I don't want to make any. Oh, yeah, I have a headache, too.

My granddaughter posted this sign on my stove. That is a pot of spaghetti and meatballs in the picture.

So, I just ordered 500 rounds of ammo, processed the order and got and email conformation. With my billing and shipping address and all that jazz. But, it never asked me for payment info? COD? Help?!

That's so cute. I'm sorry you aren't feeling well
My little niece thinks everything is hot. If you try to hand her something, before she takes it, she'll look at you and say "hot?"
